The conference for GIS in education, science and research
When the GIS scene gathers in Munich from October 23 to 25 for the Esri Europe, Middle East, and Africa User Conference (EMEAUC), the topics education, science, and research will naturally have a place.
The Esri Education GIS Conference is a forum for GIS users from schools, higher education and research institutions. It will be held on October 22 and 23, in the run-up to the EMEAUC. The event will offer a wide range of activities for students, scientists, university instructors, teachers, and other interested audience.
Lightning talks, hands-on workshops, and an unconference
The Esri Education GIS Conference will kick off with an international plenary session. It will be followed by lightning talks, interactive unconference sessions, and hands-on workshops. Information sharing and close cooperation are the main topics. The language of the conference is English, the hands-on workshop for school teachers will be offered in German.
Share your knowledge with colleagues
Be a part of the Education GIS Conference with an exciting lightning talk. You have ten minutes to explain how you use ArcGIS and Esri technology in teaching, research, and on campus.
You can also give a regular presentation for an industry track at the EMEAUC where you discuss the goals of your work, report on results and experiences, and offer valuable information to the audience.
Or prepare a session for the unconference where you talk about your favourite topic, make an experiment, connect with others, and generate
new ideas. The sessions may be planned in advance or allocated
spontaneously during the conference.
Register now and submit your presentation proposal. We look forward to seeing you in Munich – and to your contribution!
